Program Quality/ Fidelity Measures
Implementation process measures are used to evaluate the changes in staff behavior as they engage in the process of implementing a model of integrated Schoolwide Reading and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports. We believe successful student outcomes may reinforce staff behavior while implementing and continually improving a multi-tiered system of supports. However, changes in student behavior and academic performance may take time. Checklists that are used to evaluate the items staff have accomplished may function as reinforcement for changes in staff behavior. The items achieved on the checklist also serve to evaluate a school's progess in the implementation process.
Student Outcome Measures
Student outcome measures are used to evaluate the outcomes / results of implementing an integrated multi-tiered system of supports. Measures at this level look at the overall behavior or reading "health" of the school, as well as outcomes at the grade, class, and individual student levels. The student outcome measures described on this page are used primarily for screening and progress monitoring purposes.
