Audience:

High Schools teams who are currently implementing schoolwide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (beginning or more advanced levels). The schools are nominated for participation in the summit by coaches, MiBLSi regional facilitators, or district administrators. |

Purpose:

The High School PBIS Summit is an opportunity to meet and network with other High School PBIS teams for a day of sharing strategies and best practices that work in your building. The number of participants will be limited to 120 to increase the opportunity for interactions with others. |
Key Note Presentation
Hank Bohanon, Ph.D., Loyola University

Dr. Bohanon has been a special education teacher in the Dallas Public Schools. He also has served as project coordinator at the University of Kansas for the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs, research on Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports. Dr. Hank Bohanon is currently the program advisor for the special education program at Loyola University Chicago, and Director of the Center for School Evaluation, Intervention, and Training at Loyola University Chicago. His research includes positive behaviors support and universal learning design in urban and suburban settings. His current research focuses on supports for secondary, high school settings and state level evaluation of practice. |
