Madonna University Graduate Credits

Dear MiBLSi Training Participants,

We are pleased to offer you the opportunity to receive graduate credit when attending MiBLSi trainings for the 2012/2013 academic year through Madonna University.

Participants of this program may earn one hour of graduate credit for every 15 clock hours of MiBLSi trainings. You may register for 1, 2, or 3 hours of graduate credit depending on the total number of actual clock hours you accrue (15, 30 or 45). These hours may be completed over 2 semesters.

Registration:

Registration will be done directly through Madonna University. The cost is $150.00 per graduate credit hour. Payment in full is due at the time of registration. Registration must be completed within two weeks of beginning the MiBLSi training. Register online at www.madonna.edu/pdp.  Or download the registration form by clicking on the "PDP Forms" link on the left side of the webpage.
Please Note: SB-CEUs are also offered at most of your trainings. You may not take MiBLSi trainings for both SB-CEUs and Graduate Credit.

You must use the following course numbers on your registration form:

District Cohorts 1 & 2 (DC1 & DC2) will use the following course numbers

1-6 credit hours - EDU 5862.41 MiBLSi/Training II/2012-2013
1-6 credit hours - EDU 5862.42 MiBLSi/Training III/2013-2014

1-6 credit hours - EDU 5862.91 MiBLSi/Training IV/2014-2015

Cohorts 1-7 will use the following course numbers
1 credit hour - EDU 5800.78 MiBLSi/Phase III Sustainability
2 credit hours - EDU 5800.79 MiBLSi/Phase III Sustainability

Madonna University Requirements:

1. Attendance and participation in 15 actual clock hours of time for each graduate credit hour.

2. A professionally presented paper reporting on each session*. To find a template of the paper go online to: www.madonna.edu/pdp and click on the "PDP Forms" link on the left side of the webpage.  You will be brought to the PDP page and may download the document and type directly into it.

*In lieu of the essay, applicants may submit assignments that are required by MiBLSi for that training session as part of the ongoing regional training sequence. (Ex. Schoolwide Action Plan, Grade Level Instructional Plan, Progress Monitoring Data for Students at risk, etc.)

3. Submit your papers to Madonna University, College of Education - PDP, 36600 Schoolcraft Rd., Livonia, MI 48150
